“Claire has cooked for big groups of family and friends for me on several occasions. She has looked after us for several weeks, and also catered my 50th birthday party, which was a 3 course meal for around 45 people.
She is a great cook – using local, fresh ingredients to create delicious and healthy meals. She is also extremely efficient – both in terms of her work rate and her use (and re-use) of ingredients, wasting nothing. But most important of all, she is great to have around. She is very practical, nothing is too much trouble and very pleasant, interesting and friendly. I highly recommend her, and would take her on all our family holidays if I could!”

– We received a lot of compliments for the Chinese snacks (this was unexpected!) E.g. one person said it was the best Chinese snacks he had ever had!

“We hired Claire to cater for our wedding that was held at a villa in Salernes. The wedding was a year ago and people are still talking about how amazing the food was and how it helped to make our day so special.
We met Claire 3 months before the big day to discuss our ideas and she was really open to what we had to say. She also offered us some good advice and made us think about things we hadn’t even considered, such as how the temperature might affect certain food and not wanting people to be waiting around for food and drinks at any point during the day.
The wedding was an intimate affair but Claire’s food complemented it brilliantly. The canapés kept people busy while we had our official photos taken and then when the food was unveiled our guests were delighted.
The choice available suited everyone and it looked and tasted extremely fresh. The meat that had been prepared on the BBQ was delicious and a homemade gratin dauphinois was eaten up within 5 minutes of being taken out the oven.
At this point of the day, Claire and her staff had been working for over 5 hours but never once looked stressed out and were waiting on hand to clear away the mains and set up the desserts.
The desserts Claire offered us were a mix of our favourite personal choices and classics that again suited the needs of all our guests and were all made fresh on the day.
Although Claire was originally due to leave at 9pm, she was still at the wedding at 11pm helping us to clear up and making sure that our guests were 100% looked after and never went without food or drink.
I would hire Claire again without a doubt and have her to thank for making our day one we will never forget.”
